yes, i said it...ONCE [ 08.26.04, 6:33 p.m. ]

and here i am not writing, but taking things from other people. again.

I've often heard of words being compared to toothpaste: once you squeeze it out, you can't put it back in. So it is with the things you say - it can't be unsaid once it's come out. But just like toothpaste, there are different ways to deal with the mistake.

For example, if you happen to squeeze out too much toothpaste, there are two basic ways to remedy the situation: you could just push the excess into the sink and waste it, or you could use it, and have a cleaner mouth than usual.

And that's how it is with words too - if you say something stupid, you can waste the opportunity to learn from what you did, or you can take a lesson from your mistake, and end up 'cleaner', which will probably help keep you from making the same mistake again.

LOVE IT. how is it that Laura has such a great way of putting things? i think she should be a leader of some sort...*nudge nudge*

in other news. tonite is a meeting at church. our pastor is stepping down and before he goes he wants to say some things to get us all straight. i'll enjoy it. heh heh. of course i'll take it all in, process it and fit it to my life and fix all that i can. but others need a wake-up call too. weather they like it or not. must have an open heart and a mind with a door with a window in it. without that you're not getting very far.

but like i said, should prove interresting. OH!

tomorrow at Wal*Marts around the world, a concert of JG will be playing for all to see. and if i remember correctly, the last time they played a concert it was *NSync and they gave out buttons. BUTTONS PRECIOUS! so they had better give out life-sized Josh standees this time. you know, those maniac fans won't settle for anything less. actually, i'd prolly geek out if i got a freaking pin. lol maybe i'll bring my sister and she can get me one too. no, she's sneaky...

SO that's it. dinner then the meeting. maybe some david. maybe. adios wonderful people! - Weller
