ah, i forgot to let everyone know that i saw Lewis' masterpiece on the big screen some time ago. i went with david and his brother dan. it was quite fun.
the movie was quite good. made me say "thank you god a couple times just because the symbolism was so very strong. i had to thank him for what he did. many, many times.
of course there were the LOTR similarities. like the yak on the rock (uruk hai anyone?) and the silence before the strike (faramir on horseback)and some other things. oh, kiernan of course! haha but...i give that to most of the actors were from lotr. go figure! and i like lotr so good! dan and i discussed them all on the way home. we're dumb.
"prince william" sure was gorgeous. and that scares me cause i'm 22 and he's...what...i dunno...young should about cover it. but goodness! that young man is going to go places! i mean, after popoping out of that fridged water not even Leonardo DiCaprio could've out-acted this boy. i mean, leo did the whole frozen thing well, but dang! peter takes the cake any day! the whole gasping for breath and being freezing and looking worried and all at the same time...takes the cake and the cookies!
I'll stop being excited now....but it was good. and i'll buy it for myself and everyone i know. three times.
i get to work for 3hrs christmas eve. 3. count em. 9 to 10, 10 to 11, and 11 to 12. talk about ruining a good morning to sleep in! who'se gonna come to a medical walk-in on christmas eve? they better not, i'll give em a what for...that's for sure.
what else...OH the POTC preview...marvelous. i think i may go as soon as that one comes out.
david and i are insane. we had this whole discussion about how i think like him about me when it comes to him. yes...read that slower.
gifts...i want him to have everything he wants, cause i love him. he wants me to have everything i want, cause he loves me. try explaining that to a boy who went shopping all day the eve of christmas eve. at 10:30pm. interesting. possible, but interesting.
my christmas bonus this year was outstanding! i shouted "goodness gracious!" when i opened it. *nods* yep. car payment...
so i guess i should stop complaining about working 3hrs christmas eve if i get that kind of thanks. i'll do it every eve!!!
ok, so this is the last entry before christmas, and for a tad bit after. i'll have to find a place for all the stuff to go. great...
i was watching the weather tonight and on the 5 day forecast, on the 25th was a santa clause. i screamed to my mother "Where's Jesus!" who laughed and told me that it would offend someone. i got all mad and told her it offends me they don't put jesus's picture up there! go figure. i get outraged at the weirdest things.
