we have new neighbors to the left and to the right of us. the one of the left actually shares the duplex with us. the ones on the right don't.
now that we're used to living here with no one around, we feel a bit more free when it comes to things like picnicking in the yard and playing badmitton and such.
when we first moved in, and people already lived on the other side of us, we were very hesitant to open the shades or even venture out into the yard. well, i was. david wasn't all that hindered from acting normal. :)
everyone knows that when it rains it pours. it has been raining here for an month straight. there were patches of sun and the random half-sunny day. but why i brought that up isn't because of the weather.
it's because of stupid work. two people have quit because of a co-worker. one more is about to. i don't know why the higher-ups can't see the problem. i saw it in september of last year for crickets garden! it wasn't going to work, merging office staff. now you have one fired, two quit already and everyone else is ready to at the drop of a dime.
it's frustrating when all i do when i see my boss is complain about my co-worker. she's really not a co-worker, but she's not my boss either. she's a person with a higher position than me but our titles demand the same kind of respect for eachother but not really. i don't know why i just explained that because i think i just made it harder...
BUT. she's not working out and no one wants to do anything about it. so, the other girl that works directly beside me will quit and i'll end up having to pick up 50 hours a week because no one decided to do anything about the real problem.
on top of that, i have people who are friends when they need something calling me and asking for favors, not showing up for the favor, and then asking me why they got a bill for the favor and if i can take care of it.
i work in a medical office. i'm sure you can figure it out. i don't know why i'm writing so crypticlly. i guess i think someone will google certian things and find out that i'm badmouthing them. lol SO. paranoi is good...right?
anyway. it's just annoying. next week is a 50hr week because the girl that wants to quit is on vacay. and now i have to deal with the fact that she might get another job within that week and leave us high and dry. which is sad because she's an excellent worker and a very good person and i like her alot. BUT none of that matters. if i don't have happy people working with me, it's better for both of our sanity.
BUT will they do anything to change the "everyone quit" deal if she leaves?
who knows.
all i know is tht when it rains, all i really want to do is splash around in the puddles. and there aren't any puddles today. just OCEANS!
