yea, i know i wrote this morning. oh well. i came to see who had updated and i decided to write.
HAHA jake always makes me laugh, and i don't even know this stephen kid! darn his hiatus! anyways...
today was cool. work is getting kind of boring. we're not making the usual business. i mean, sending people home early left and right...i got to go home, no complaints here really but i wish that while i was there i had something challenging to do. know what i'm sayin?
i had my "appraisal" today. see how much i'm worth. seems like i'm worth someone who is "above average". that's cool! i've been working there 3 years and i finally got above average! lori called me mother goose and the perfect employee, except for the fact that i can't keep everyone busy when i run the front end. funny, i can keep myself busy...babysitting is not my thing. i should not be responsible for keeping those 16+ people busy. they're 16+ for crying out jimminy! oh well, guess it comes with the job description.
that's another thing. i think i should get paid alot. lol so doesn't anyone else you randomly pick off the street to ask. but 8.25 an hour to deal with the people at a supermarket and solve all their problems is just not fun. but i love the peeps i work with, so i really can't complain...even tho i just kind of did.
i may be getting a new job. sometime in the future of course. my cousin is buying this place somewhere (i know where, but no one else will so it doesn't matter) and it's gonna be a food-mart/gas station/something else cool and he needs people to..erhm...manage the place. hmmmm. i could do that. i'll even go to school to become one of those really good managers with a degree in bossing people around and such. well, maybe not that detailed. *wink* so my aunt told him to keep me in mind when he opens up for some biznaaassss. haha. he said he definately would with a big grin on his face. well, he could've been grinning, i dunno he was on the phone. he better have been grinning...
i was supposed to watch what's eating gilbert grape tonight but i ended up watching tv with my mom. first a taped episode of CSI then it was Joan of Arcadia. now i'm here doin this. 44 minutes later. wow, where did the time go?
i also stopped by ebay to check out the status on my LOTR oscar ad purchase. you can take a look if you want. and i found yet something else that cought my eye! another JG ad! it's wicked rare and i must tack it to my wall! (in a frame of course!) ah, spending money on stuff i'll have for the rest of my days is nice. *nods*
oh, wait...i need to buy 4 new tires in a couple months...
so, it's off to read some more of TTT then hopefully i can drift off to that wonderful world of sleep. i can't seem to do that very well when i know i have to get up at 5:30 on a saturday morning just for stupid stinking work.
well, tomorrow is Hidalgo with the family so that should be enjoyable.
